I am delighted to announce that Ambiguous Records have been asked to curate a night at BBC6 presenter, Tom Robinson's Fresh on the Net festival.

The line up will include sets from Rob Marr, Alice Gun and Ambiguous Records friends, Gold Sounds. Robbie and Alex from The Mores will be applying their usual alchemy to the wheels of steel, Mr David Viner will be making a guest appearance and just to top it off, Perrier Award winning comedian, Stuart Silver will be narrating through the evening.

And here's what Tom has to say:

To celebrate the 2nd anniversary of BBC Introducing: Fresh On The Net we present a fortnight of outstanding new songwriters, indie bands and electronic artists at Riverside Studios in Hammersmith, West London from Tuesday 20th October to Sunday November 1st. All artists have been featured on the radio show and have equal billing. All tickets are £6. Click here for booking info.

We’ve been playing new online tunes recommended by listeners (and/or the musicians themselves) on my BBC Introducing radio show since October 2007. In that time we’ve given over 3,000 artists their first national radio exposure, and the quality of new material each week has taken even us by surprise.

Trying to choose just thirty artists and two of the labels we’ve featured has been an impossible task - these shows feature only a small cross-section of my personal favourites from the last 24 months.
