Carpentry, curating and St Pancras International Railway Station

Dear friends,

I return, fully charged, from an August sans Ambiguous. As every musician and label boss should, I have made good use of the time off and built a theremin from three old radios and done some carpentry. Oh and watched a couple of songs clock up nearly a million plays in shops worldwide.

And the future... It is with great excitement that I can give you a sneak preview of some of the cool stuff we've got coming up.

Alice Gun will be playing the Union Chapel on Sunday 20th September.

BBC6 Presenter, Tom Robinson, is running a two week festival in October and invited Ambiguous Records to curate a night. I am very chuffed about this and will let you know more nearer the time. But in the meantime it's on the 28th October and will be at the Riverside Studios.

Alice Gun had a great time on Ruth Barnes's radio show. You may have heard Ruth on BBC6 saying nice things about Ambiguous and she also has a Resonance FM show called The Other Woman. You can hear the session here www.myspace.com/theotherwomanmusic Alice will be back on Resonance, today in fact, on Dexter Bentley's show live with Sam Campari. Tune in at lunchtime 104.4FM.

There are many more gigs and various excitements in the pipeline, check out www.ambiguousrecords.com and the artist myspace pages for more. St Pancras International Station, The Vortex and Acoustic Suicide to name but a few. I'm off to begin planning Alice Gun's album. Now that is going to be a hum dinger.

See you soon I hope,

love Al x
