Alice Gun records at her home in North London and in an isolated Lakeland farmhouse, distilling macabre, seductive music from cello, guitars, glockenspiel, double bass, E-bow, accordion and a lopsided upright.

...beautiful and profoundly affecting... – Tom Robinson, BBC 6 Music

...like Polly Harvey at her most seductive... – Loud and Quiet

...not to be missed... – Artrocker

A classically-trained multi-instrumentalist, she also plays cello for blues man Mr David Viner in a long-running collaboration which has included recording with Ed Harcourt and touring with the White Stripes. She also does house music vocals for the money.

Live, Alice Gun is joined by her producer and Damon Albarn-collaborator Al Mobbs on double bass, Robbie Jarvis on drums and Sam Campari on everything else.

...Everybody’s got a story to tell, but not everybody is lucky enough to find their voice as well as Alice Gun has... – You Ain’t No Picasso
